My strength comes from the Lord
Dear Jesus, nothing compares to you. You are my strength, my rock, my joy, my way, my truth and my life. Lord Jesus, without you I can do nothing. Lord in the wilderness where I exist, you call me by my name and I have no words to express or understand the marvelous thing that you do for me. Lord I just call on your cell phone “Jeremiah 33/3” where you promise me “Call on Me and I will answer you and I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about” Yes Lord, you fulfill this promise to me each and every moment of my life.
Jesus, as I face life today it is impossible for me to carry on even for a moment/second without you. When I see my husband with his complete loss of memory (due to an accident on the road) and the times that I am going through, sometimes without a maid or helper, I wonder how I exist because the job is totally unbearable. I often call out to you and say “Lord where you are? Why this misery? Why is everyone troubling me though I treat them well and you just answer me “Child, I am there, very near to you, you can’t see me, do not be afraid, arise and walk” and I feel strengthened immediately and I am back to my normal work. Lord Jesus, I have always prayed to you not to take the one thing in my life that I cherish and long for the most and that is the “Eucharist”. I love to attend the Eucharist everyday and I know Lord, that you have carried me on your shoulders each morning during the last 1 ½ year and you will do so till the end of my journey till I meet you face to face.
Lord I love to talk to you in the Most Blessed Sacrament. I keep pouring out my problem and you keep answering them without fail.
Though we have spent lots of money on my husband’s illness, yet you keep sufficient balance with us providing succour from all sides. You alone are my great provider. Lord, I thank you for endless and boundless love for me and for my family. My unfailing Lord, give graces to each one to spread your love to everyone.
