I just did not want to go back home
On 8th April 2006, most of our parishioners of Subhash Nagar,
Chembur, visited the Blessed Sacrament. They were given one hour each through
the entire day from 7 am to 8 pm. Whoever we contacted, willingly said ‘Yes’.
We had a very good response and they later shared their inspiring testimonies.
Most of them experienced great peace and joy as they sat in front of the Blessed
Sacrament. Some of them did not want to leave the place even though their one
hour slot was over. They said they just wanted to be there close to Jesus.
One of our youth visited the Blessed Sacrament for the first time. Before he
could go to visit the BS, he said I will sit for one hour only, but to his surprise
he said I just did not want to go back home. He also said “I felt I was
in close contact with the Lord, and did not want to leave the place. I was feeling
a great joy and peace within, which I never experienced before.”
Another parishioner said he too did not feel like leaving the
place, though his one hour was over. He said he started reading the Bible and
kept getting messages after messages and felt very peaceful. Even my experience
was the same. I too did not feel like leaving the place; I was there almost
for two hours and I too experienced great joy and peace within me.
